We invite you to attend the VII Turkish Plant Protection Congress With International Participation held at the Hilton Dalaman Sarıgerme Resort and Spa in Muğla, Turkey, from 14-17 November 2018.
Over the years, the Congress evolved to become the Turkish Plant Protection Congress in 2004. Under this umbrella, is also includes the XVI Phtopathology, XII Biological Control, XIt Entomology and X Herbology Congresses (Weed Science), of Turkey.
The Congress will focus on the increasing demand for food to meet the expected population growth in the next 20 years. Consequently, such growth influences and shapes agricultural markets. Topics and panel discussions will address how farmers worldwide need to: boost crop production; develop strategies to increase the amount of agricultural land to grow crops, enhance crop productivity through plant genetic modification; improve pest control and adopt new methods in crop management.
The Congress will be a forum for international and national agricultural scientists, researchers, and educators to present their research findings and results. There will be keynote speakers and other well-known scientists. Oral presentations and poster displays will be featured. Therefore, information and experiences can be disseminated and accessed by agricultural professionals, government bodies, organizations, universities, local farming communities, and the general public.
A series of unique sight-seeing events and other activities are also planned. The Congress is located in a scenic corner of Turkey making it a beautiful venue.
